New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
Day two for the 2015 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Fest will be a party. Can’t miss. I’ll take you stage-by-stage so if you want some tips, print and pack this sucker. Also check out the videos for inspiration. And if you’re not going this year, enjoy the videos. There’s always new music to explore, and this is a good way to do it.
Day one for the 2015 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is coming up this Friday. Can’t wait! Let’s not dwell on the weather forecast…just remember to bring a rain poncho and wear shoes you don’t expect to wear to dinner later that night. Or shoes you don’t have a sentimental attachment to. Watch the Woodstock movie. You might get some survival tips. But let’s look at the music lineup at this amazing annual musical event. The music starts at 11 AM and they shut down at 7 PM. That’s brilliant because you don’t have a gazillion drunks hanging out at the fairgrounds after dark. The crowd spreads out over the city, and if you are civilized, you might even make time for a shower and a power nap before heading out for dinner and a club. Each day we’ll go stage by stage and I’ll give you some tips. If you’re going, print and pack. And watch the videos before you leave town. You might find a musical surprise that will change your life.
