    The Bobby Fuller Four version was also a cover. The song was originally a Crickets B side.

    “I Fought The Law” was actually written by Sonny Curtis of The Crickets. They recorded it in 1959 and released it in 1960. The Bobby Fuller Four version is also a cover recorded in 1964..

    There were several songs Blondie made their own, and in some cases made it a big hit.

    The tide is high #1usa #1 Uk, was a cover, Denis was a #2 uk. The already mentioned Hanging on the telephone was a #5 Uk hit.

    They have covered other songs, including Deborah Harry’s solo stuff such as:

    The hunter gets captured by the game, Liar Liar (Married to the Mob Soundtrack, Ring of fire (Roadie Soundtrack), Summertime Blues (Charity Album), Strawberry fields forever (On a Los Fabulous cadillacs album), Prelude to a kiss (Soundtrack for same title) and Out in the streets (On the blondie album No Exit).
