THURSDAY

New Music Thursday:
NEW MUSIC THURSDAY: We’ll dig deeper in to new Sting, Wilco and Green Day. We’ll share more from Lydia Loveless’ stunning album. More from the Stones latest release. Sylvan Esso is a new favorite project of ours and we hope you dig it too. The XX return with a new album and the first single even has some Hall & Oates goodness for you. Japandroids have also returned with a new album, which Jason debuted on The Big Beat. You’ll hear something from local artist, K.Flay. You’ll hear something new from LA artist, Mondo Cozmo. The Shins released a new song for some Halloween Fun and while we’re still eatin’ the candy, we can enjoy the tasty tune. Two up & comers we’re hoping you like: The Marcus King Band and The Growlers – you’ll hear from both. One of our faves, Split Single, released a new album, Metal Frames, and we’re stoked to share. Jim James has a new solo album coming out and you’ll hear the first track. Rachael Yamagata has a new album out, Tightrope Walker, and we’ll give it a spin. Cloud Nothings return with a new album! In time for us upcoming show, you’ll hear from Jim James’ 2nd solo album, “Eternally Even.” From Phish’s new album, Big Boat, we’ll spin Breath & Burning. Founded by The Strokes’ Nick Valensi you’ll hear something from his new project, CRX. The Pixies have a new album and we’ll dig a bit deeper with the tune, Classic Masher. You’ll hear something new from Temples. We’ll dig deeper in to the latest from Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Strumbellas. We’re sprung on the new single from Lucy Dakus. Father John Misty decided to drop a new song, Real Love Baby. Another Chicago Area native, Ryley Walker, has a new album out and we’ll share the gorgeous first single.
