2 Minute Drill: A Halloween Treat At Soldier Field [Listen]

The 1-5 Bears knocked off the 5-1 Minnesota Vikings last night on the return of Jay Cutler from injury. Running back Jordan Howard had a career day with 202 all-purpose yards and a touchdown en route to being the youngest Bear to attain such lofty numbers. And he did it behind a makeshift line with guards Kyle Long and Josh Sitton inactive due to injury. Our Two Minute Drill correspondent, Mitch Unrein got into the action at fullback on a Howard scoring run around the end and lamented that the line didn’t leave anyone for him to block. The Bears defense stepped up too, harassing quarterback Sam Bradford through much of the contest. Linemen Pernell McPhee and Akiem Hicks had a big night. All things were clicking for the Bears in a nice boon in front of the home crowd. The Bears enter their bye week 2-5 with a matchup in Tampa Bay looming.

Chicago Bears defensive lineman / fullback Mitch Unrein joins the XRT Morning Show the morning after every Bears game at 9:15am for the Two Minute Drill.
