These Artists Are Eligible For Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction In 2017

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame is set to reveal its nominees tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Want to know who is up for nomination this year? You’ve come to the right place.

The Rock Hall defines eligibility as the following,

“Artists—a group encompassing performers, composers and/or musicians—become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record. Besides demonstrating unquestionable musical excellence and talent, inductees will have had a significant impact on the development, evolution and preservation of rock & roll.”

Consequence of Sound provides a list of artists that are up for nomination this year.

They are… Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, PJ Harvey, Alanis Morissette, Temple of the Dog, Tori Amos, Paul Weller, The Cranberries, Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, The Smiths, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Kraftwerk, Blur, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Hole, Tom Petty (solo), Bon Jovi, Janet Jackson, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, Chic, The Cars, Sting, Kylie Minogue, Tracy Chapman, Electric Light Orchestra, Alice in Chains, Phish, The Meters, Warren Zevon, The Zombies, Los Lobos, Jethro Tull, The Moody Blues, De La Soul, and Sinead O’Connor.
