President Obama Stays True To His Chicago Roots, Says No To Ketchup On A Hot Dog

President Barack Obama knows better than to put ketchup on his hot dog. After all, he’s from Chicago.

The President appeared on the season premiere of Parts Unknown, Anthony Bourdain’s travelogue on CNN.

The two men shared some meals in a restaurant in Hanoi, Vietnam and Bourdain asked Obama about his take on putting ketchup on hot dogs.

“do not do it if you are over 8 years old,” the President said.

And he hasn’t broken his own law ever. CBS Chicago reported that back in 2011, he had lunch at Rudy’s Hot Dog in Ohio and ordered a chili dog.
