Saturday Morning Flashback: 1967 [Playlist]

The music of 1967 always makes for a groovy show, with influential artists, pop classics, and assorted one-hit-wonders. It was also a breakthrough year for album cover art. There was Andy Warhol’s banana on the debut from The Velvet Underground, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Creams’ Disraeli Gears, Their Satanic Majesties Request from the Stones – a few albums that were both aurally and visually unique.

Coming up:
August 20 – 1996
August 27 – 1974: Live Broadcast from Schubas!
