Ellery Roberts of LUH. Chats with Jason Thomas Ahead of Sunday’s Pitchfork Appearance [Listen]

Amsterdam-based LUH. (pronounced “luh”) have only been performing together live for a few months, but they were booked as part of the 2016 Pitchfork Music Festival long ago. They’ll be in Union Park this Sunday night to perform at 7:45 on the blue stage, and lead vocalist Ellery Roberts called in earlier today to chat with me about the formation of the band, his unique voice, their massive sound, their overall message, and since he’s an Englishman, I couldn’t help but ask about the recent Brexit vote.

As you can hear/see above, this band is one-of-a-kind and spending some quality time with their debut album (Spiritual Songs for Lovers to Sing) is highly recommended. Oh, and as of this posting, tickets still remain for the Pitchfork Music Festival and they can be purchased here.
