Monsters Of Folk Reunite (For One Night Only Anyway)

The quartet of Jim James, M. Ward, Conor Oberst, and Mike Mogis make up the supergroup Monsters Of Folk and to date have only released one album. That was back in 2009, but for one night, they were in the spotlight.

M. Ward opened up for Brian Wilson at the Hollywood Bowl and brought out 3/4 of the supergroup to the stage to cover three songs.

Watch Jim James, M. Ward, and Conor Oberst perform “Whole Lotta Losin'” above and “Vincent O’Brien” and “To Save Me” below.

Ward also brought out Zooey Deschanel to the stage to cover two She & Him tracks.
