David Gilmour Returns To Pompeii For The First Time In 45 Years

David Gilmour made his return to Pompeii 45 years after Pink Floyd played the Roman Amphitheatre.

The Pink Floyd concert was captured and released as the memorable concert film Live In Pompeii.

While no video exists at the moment showing Gilmour’s performance, his wife Polly Samson published several stunning photos on her Instagram account. You can also watch a fan-shot video above showing the entrance into the historic venue.
