His Name Was Philando Castile – News With Mary Dixon

A police officer near Minneapolis-St. Paul is on administrative leave after shooting to death 32 year-old Philando Castile during a traffic stop last night. Castile was a cafeteria supervisor at a Montessori school. He was also African American.

The Justice Department has launched a civil rights investigation into the police shooting death of another black man, Alton Sterling, in Baton Rouge, LA … while in Chicago, neighborhood activists are complaining about a lack of hearings on changing the oversight process for police … Donald Trump is defending that anti-Semitic meme used to criticize Hillary Clinton on his Twitter feed as ‘just a star.’ The White Sox won … the Cubs lost … and Dwyane Wade is returning to Chicago.
