Following a four-game sweep to the New York Mets team that swept them out of last year’s NLCS, the Cubs are back home to get healthy again on the lowly Cincinnati Reds. The Cubs pitching staff has collectively come back down to earth, but the great start the team’s had has provided ample cushion for this latest slump. Thankfully, the Cubs avoided a Schwarber redux when Albert Almora, Jr and Kris Bryant collided in the outfield. Bryant went off with a lower leg contusion, but should be good to go going forward.
