Peter Gabriel And…

One of the most distinctive voices of modern progressive rock, Peter Gabriel, is our Friday Feature star this week. One of his strengths (and weaknesses) is his constant need to find new sounds to flavor his music. This results in long delays between albums, but eventually results in delirious explosions of global sound. It also enables him to work well with others. Here’s a few examples:

This six minute hug with his co-star is almost as good as a real one.

A glorious celebration of musical gravity.

Peter meets his perfect complement for a little nature observation.

Stirring tribute sung with a musician who is also a cabinet minister in Senegal.

A tale of unlimited war with a famous bass player.
