I’ve spent the last 4.5 years as a music and media professional and is a proud University of Iowa alumna since May of 2016.
While pursuing my B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Certificate in Writing, I spent my free time immersing herself in the world of music and media; whether it was hosting one of my two weekly music and entertainment radio shows at KRUI 89.7 FM, conducting interviews as an arts & culture journalist for http://www.KRUI.FM, leading meetings with my staff of writers as Editor in Chief of KRUI.FM, photography assignments, or interning for a public access news channel, City Channel 4 in Iowa City, IA where I hosted and created packages, I’ve dipped her feet into numerous areas of media creation/production and music journalism.
I most recently interned at a Chicago-based music licensing company, Music Dealers, which reaffirmed my desire to thrive in the music industry.
When I’m not freelancing, I also works at the first ever tech/film/TV/music creative incubator, 2112 in Chicago.
My favorite things to do all revolve around music in some way, mainly attending live music events in the Chicagoland area. Pizza is the most important food group in my diet, and a pack of Reese’s peanut butter cups is her kryptonite.
