Earlier this week, The Killers made a stop in Manchester and at one point during the band’s set, Brandon Flowers told the crowd about the origins of the band’s name. He told them that it came from a New Order video, said that, “he thinks that they’re from here,” and then brought “the sheriff of Manchester” on stage to perform one of New Order’s 2001 singles, “Crystal.” This DJ thinks they pulled it off quite nicely.
