Everybody hold on tight, the planets are about to mess with our heads. Mercury is going into retrograde as it does 3 times every year, starting tomorrow February 23rd, until St. Patrick’s Day March 17th. What does it mean exactly? It means we’re all about to go mad.
When the planet that rules communication, clear thinking, truth, and travel changes motion believers think we feel the effects. We begin finding ourselves in bizarre arguments, making it harder to finish sentences, and even form coherent thoughts. Appointments get missed, checks get lost, travel delays become routine and even our technology is more likely to burn out. There’s nowhere to run, we just have to get through it the best we can.
So how are we going to come out of the Mercury Retrograde alive? By listening to music, of course! Here are a few relaxing songs to help make the chaotic and unpredictable next few weeks a little easier.
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros – Om Nashi Me
Devendra Banhart – Freely
M. Ward – Shangri-La
Dan Auerbach – When the Night Comes
My Morning Jacket – If It Smashes Down
Andrew bird – Tenuousness
Beach house – Zebra
Iron and Wine – Naked As We Came
Wilco – Impossible Germany
