Here we go again. Like last February, speculation on who will perform at Lollapalooza this August is very much alive with multiple twitter accounts claiming to leak the lineup. It all started with the account, @TheLollaLeaker, slowly hinting at the 2013 lineup and eventually tweeting that we would see Blur, Steve Aoki and Kendrick Lamar in Grant Park.
Then another account stepped in to take the spotlight, @AgentOfLolla. This account accused the Lolla Leaker of making the fans “suffer” in anticipation, and then tweeted a screenshot of what looks like the top of a Lollapalooza Lineup.

According to the image, the headliners would include The Cure, Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Blur, Skrillex, and The Flaming Lips. The other acts in the photo are bands and artists like Vampire Weekend, How to Destroy Angels, My Bloody Valentine, MGMT, Above & Beyond, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, Alabama Shakes, Kendrick Lamar, Steve Aoki, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. As you may have noticed, the three actsthe first leaker mentioned were listed in this photo as well. However, there is no way of knowing whether the page in the photo is real or where it came from. The two accounts then exchanged words with each other via Twitter, including a worried tweet from @TheLollaLeaker calling the situation “extremely serious”.
@AgentOfLolla I can't DM you, please DM me, this is extremely serious.—

@TheLollaLeaker What want me to take it down? Welcome to the internet, it's not going anywhere—

We have no idea if any of the leaks surrounding the festival are true. We do know that last year there were tweets claiming to leak the headliners and only one was true, The Red Hot Chili Peppers. As for this year, we will have to wait for spring to know for sure. The festival will take place during the weekend of August 2nd in Grant Park. Tickets will be available at lollapalooza.com.
