“When I’m with you baby, I go out of my head”. “And I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough”. Remember this song performed by the hit 80’s English band Depeche Mode? The lead single, “Just Can’t Get Enough” is from the band’s debut album, Speak & Spell originally released in 1981 and then re-released in 2006 featuring additional tracks. To date, the band has twelve albums under its belt, with a new album, Delta Machine set to be released March 22nd. The album features the hit-single, “Heaven” along with twelve other tracks. It’s been awhile since the band has released anything, their last album, Sounds of the Universe released in 2009, received positive reviews and a Grammy nomination for” Best Alternative Music Album”.
Q magazine named the band “The most popular electronic band the world has ever known” and was included in the list of “50 Bands That Changed the World”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the band, on vocals is Dave Gahan, lead guitarist and keyboardist, Martin Gore, and on keyboards, Andy Fletcher. The band is well-known for its synthpop melodies and harmonies. However, with their newest album the group has taken on more of an authentic and intimate sound.
