After Los Angeles folk rock group, Dawes, announced they would be releasing their third album this spring titled Stories Don’t End, the first single from their forthcoming LP “From A Window Seat” is unveiled.
Dawes received much attention after recently performing a sold out show with Mumford and Sons at the Chicago Theatre and ranking high in the XRT Listener Poll. Front-man Taylor Goldsmith says that the band feels like they are growing, especially with the anticipation of the release of their upcoming third album.
With apparent influences of singers from the ‘70s, such as Jackson Brown and Jim Croce, “From A Window Seat” is filled with flowing harmonies and catchy guitars. “From A Window Seat” is the second track off of Stories Don’t End, which is set to be released April 9th, 2013.
