A big week for semi-holidays (the ones where you still have to go to work) with Fat Tuesday, Ash Wednesday and Valentines Day all clumped up for our attention. Today, however, it’s the birthday (actual) of Abraham Lincoln, a man who spent some quality time here in Illinois before moving on to Washington D.C. and never looking (or coming) back.
