For what is an ultimatum but extortion with fancier clothing? As children, ultimatum’s are used to give the child no other option. We all dreaded the phrase “or else” when we were younger out of fear of the unknown.

Ultimatum’s aren’t something that we look forward to. They have become a generally accepted part of our lives. When given no other choice, most of us will sway away from the dreaded “or else”.
