The Flaming Lips released their cover of Queen’s absolute classic “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Not only do we get to listen to the Lips’ interpretation of the quintessential Queen track, but we get the recorded band footage mixed with the imagery of a naked sun-bather that was uploaded as a somewhat NSFW video on the Lips’ YouTube page.

This cover suggests that The Flaming Lips will follow through with front-man, Wayne Coyne’s, plans to remake classic albums in their entirety, collectively with various other musicians. It’s rumored that the Lips’ may release a remake of The Stone Roses’ first LP very soon. The Lips’ released their own cover album of Pink Floyd’s 1973 classic album, “Dark Side Of The Moon,” in 2010, as well as a cover of British progressive rockers, King Crimson, very first album last year.

The Flaming Lips have recently been quite busy. With this Queen cover, entire album covers, along with the release of their chocolate heart USB compilation “Songs Of Love,” including a cover of The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love,” we now await the Lip’s anticipated release of their next studio album, “The Terror,” set to arrive on April 1st.
