For those of you who attended last year’s Pitchfork Music Festival experienced the recognizable sounds of bands such as Vampire Weekend, Feist, and Cloud Nothings. The three-day festival returns to Chicago’s Union Park, from Friday, July 19th thru Sunday the 21st, to celebrate a unique blend of music from around the globe.
Today, Pitchfork announced that this year’s headliners will be R.Kelly, Bjork, and Belle and Sebastian. The full line-up is still in the works, but will consist of over 40 bands and artists. Not only will the festival feature music, but a wide range of food vendors, specialty fairs, and everything within the Chicago arts community.
A limited number of three-day passes available now for $120 and individual tickets are on sale for $50 – get 'em here. This is only the beginning — 30 more acts are still to be announced! Once the full lineup is available, we’ll have it for you right here.
