We don’t know for sure if Daft Punk will make a surprise visit at Coachella, but it is confirmed that they have a new album on the way.
Besides the soundtrack for Disney’s Tron: Legacy in 2010, Daft Punk haven’t released a full album since Human After All in 2005. Fortunately, the wait will soon be over. According to a French newspaper called, Le Parisien, the helmet-wearing duo should have an album out in the next few months.
The electronic rockers have signed on for an LP with Columbia. Although there isn’t a lot of information on the new album yet, we may know other artists that could feature on it. According to the A.V. Club, it could feature artists Paul Williams, Nile Rodgers, Nathan East and Giorgio Moroder.
