Bobby “Blue” Bland On Blues Breakers Tonight

The most original and most recognizable vocalist in the blues will be our Artist of the Week on Blues Breakers tonight. After all, “Blue” is his middle name. Bobby was born in 1930 in Roseland, Tennessee. He developed his singing style in Memphis while hanging around with the likes of BB King. We’ll spin a few songs from Mr. Bland plus blues that’s new blues that’s old, and blues by people that will be performing in town this week. Blues Breakers, from 9p-10p central every Monday.
