Got a classic side of freshness from 1970 coming up this afternoon on the Vinyl Frontier to help keep our 2013 New Year momentum fully invested and it inspired me to revisit some other great tracks from one of the most fertile periods in American music history. The record companies were throwing lots of big money contracts at any band with long hair and tie-dye, but they had an amazing amount of success. Here’s a few:
