Eric Clapton, one of America’s most influential guitarists, is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Slowhand this month with a multi-format release.

Remastered from the original Olympic Studios 1/4″ flat analog master tapes the Slowhand 35th Anniversary Special includes four album session outtakes. Those unreleased tracks have been newly mixed from the original Olympic Studios 2″ analog masters.

Clapton has been in the musical spotlight for close to fifty years. The album was first released in November 1977 and has been the most successful album of Clapton’s 70s studio recordings when it reached No.2 on the Billboard chart, where it stayed for five weeks.
