He’s most famous for the music he made as a member of The Smiths, and even though Johnny Marr has worked with a zillion bands over the years (The Pretenders, The The, The Cribs, Modest Mouse, JM & The Healers, to name a few), he’s never found time to release a proper solo record. That changes on February 26 when The Messenger drops. We have our first taste posted below, a rocker by the name of “The Right Thing Right.” Nice to know that Johnny’s still killing it in the studio along with killing it with his feet.
