Low, the Minnesota group set to celebrate their 20th anniversary next year, is gracing us with two exciting new releases.
After hearing Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy’s work with Mavis staples, the group paid a visit to the Loft, Wilco’s recording studio in Chicago. There they recorded their new album The Invisible Way, set to release on March 19, 2013. Judging by the fact that everything Jeff Tweedy touches turns to gold, we’re excited to hear how this one will turn out.
Although their new album won’t be out until the Spring, they have released a free EP online entitled Plays Nice Places. Low recorded Plays Nice Places while touring with Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard.
