In commemoration of their 50th anniversary, The Rolling Stones released a compilation album celebrating their history as a band entitled Grrr! Each edition contains exclusive material ranging from a booklet, hardback book, poster, and a bonus CD featuring unreleased studio recordings. For a band that has been larger than life throughout its existence, it’s only appropriate that their 50th anniversary box set contain the music that helped get them to that level alongside personal recollections from band members about their fifty years as a group.
Two new tracks “Doom and Gloom” and “One More Shot” are included among classics such as “Sympathy For The Devil”, “Under My Thumb”, “Brown Sugar”, and many others. Any group that has been together for fifty years will have many stories to tell. When you add a cast of characters like Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts to the mix, the stories get taken to a whole new level.
Listen below for an exclusive sampling of tracks from Grrr! alongside brand new interviews from Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and Charlie. Stream parts 1-3 in the players below.
