Reporting Lin Brehmer
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, a crippled city took on more than just the weather. Televangelists suggested that New Orleans was being punished for being a wicked city. Relief efforts seemed sluggish. And there was a real concern that New Orleans was going to be packed in mothballs and put away forever.
It was a week or so after Hurricane Katrina that I wrote this tribute to the Big Easy for Lin’s Bin.
