Ah Baseball, America’s pastime. Take a walk over to Wrigley Field during a Cubs game and you would be hard pressed not to find Lin taking in every minute of the agony that is Cubs baseball. A young listener asked Lin, “why does baseball have so many dumb rules?”
Baseball is a seemingly simple game. You have the pitcher who throws to the hitter, who then either hits the ball into play in which the fielder throws him out at first base before he reaches the base, or the fielder catches the ball before it hits the ground to record an out, but this is only when there is no one on base.
