Reporting Lin Brehmer

Because rock and roll is too good to be limited to one go around, Lin revisits the question, “When did it become necessary for rock and roll to be so neatly categorized?” Never one to skimp on the details, Lin digs deeper into the many categories of rock and roll.

As rock and roll grew, so did the number of bands trying to get a slice of the pie. Lin explains, “It was like rock and roll was becoming a continent of ice so massive, that chunks on the edge would collapse under their own weight and fall off and float away in the ocean.” Where exactly is this categorization of rock and roll taking us? Find out in this episode of Lin’s Bin.
