There aren’t too many things better than a soulful southern rock jam session, and that’s just what Gov’t Mule provides with this performance of Worried Down With the Blues.
At the end of 2011, Warren Haynes released the forth volume of his Benefit Concert Series. The two-disc compilation includes performances by Gov’t Mule, Bob Weir and Friends, and John Hiatt and the Goners, all of which were recorded in 2002 at Haynes’ Annual Christmas Jam.
Warren Haynes Presents: Benefit Concert Series Vol. 4 is filled with memorable collaborations, but one standout track is Gov’t Mule’s performance of “Worried Down With the Blues” featuring Greg Rzab on the bass. This nine minute rocker is delivered with the groove and grit that demands your attention.
