Mumford & Sons have returned with the new single, “I Will Wait” from their forthcoming album, Babel. It’s classic Mumford: locomotive acoustic guitars, rich organic instrumentation, and straightforward heartfelt lyrics delivered both as group harmonies and a solo roar.
The song arrives as a strong indication of good things to come on the groups new album, to be released on September 24.
Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road tour with Gogol Bordello, Dawes, and others comes to Dixon, Illinois on Saturday August 18. The group will also play an XRT show at the Chicago Theatre on Thursday, August 16.
