Lin’s love for the Cubs has been chronicled many times throughout his time at XRT. Whether it’s hosting the opening day broadcast outside of Wrigley or sitting in the stands watching Carlos Marmol walk away the lead, Lin bleeds Cubby blue.
Lin recalls his own experiences during that magical fall of 2005 watching the White Sox bring Chicago that ever elusive World Series trophy. Much like the Regular Guy’s ode to the Cubs every opening day, Lin toasts the South Side and offers the hope that Cubs and Sox fans can coexist peacefully.
