Establishing herself as one half of the universally released Swedish pop group Cat5, Hanna, as she is respectively now known as, has recently released her debut solo EP, Lioness. While working with Cat5, this up and coming solo pop artist had some time to think about developing her own self image and style of music and began working on the direction she wished to go with her new solo project.
Knowing the sound she wished to create for her solo career, Hanna worked closely with one of Sweden’s most talented and well known music producers, Dan Lissbick. With musical influences including Bjork, Beach House, and Dirty Projectors, as well as collaborating with Young Galaxy members Stephan Ramsay and Catharine McCandless on the songwriting for the album, the now available release was a collection of 4 tracks on Lioness. From the EP, listeners can expect to hear a combination of pop, rock, and R&B with an indie twist.
On her near completion of the full length album, Lioness, Hanna is an emerging indie pop artist with much more to share and create for the already wide range genre. You can download Hanna’s debut EP here.
