[photogallerylink id=126278 align=left]WXRT is celebrating 40 years of WXRT with the 70′s last weekend and while Lin explains his past of remembering the Punk scene rising, we hear his story about how bands like the Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Talking Heads, came to the scene and scared the pants off of some people. Lin goes into small brief details about how the Ramones came out and into the scene with their sound that changed the way of music genres at this time. They where explosive and some people weren’t ready for them to come into the scene.
We also hear a brief story from when Lin, back in 1977, was hanging out in a recorded store with long blond hair and is standing next to The Talking Heads, at first people wouldn’t really no who this band was, but now maybe some people wouldn’t be able to guess that how the guy was standing next The Talking Heads.
