Following a two-week reign atop the Billboard 200 album chart with Tuskegee, Lionel Richie has been dethroned by one of rock’s leading figures, Jack White. White’s first solo album, Blunderbuss, makes its chart debut at No. 1 with 138,317 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

White is something of a jack of all musical trades, and his Blunderbuss is the first release following the 2011 dissolution of the band that launched his career, the White Stripes. Much like his handful of bands (the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and Dead Weather), White’s solo album draws on vintage rock, blues and even country influences.

Richie’s own Southern-bred influences come out on his latest album of his greatest hits reimagined as duets with country stars. Tuskegee came in at No. 3 this week on the Billboard 200 following a two-week run as the country’s No. 1 album. It has sold 615,312 copies since its release on March 26, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Further down the charts, Bonnie Raitt‘s Slipstream slips from the top 10 to No. 13 this week, with 22,050 copies sold this week and 121,727 sold overall. The Boss stays at a similar position as he has the last two weeks, coming in this week at No. 33 with Wrecking Ball. Bruce Springsteen has sold 379,095 copies of his latest, which made its debut on the Billboard 200 chart eight weeks ago.

Two classic singer-songwriters from Brooklyn make debuts on the chart this week: Barry Manilow‘s Live In London album comes in at No. 24 while Carole King‘s Legendary Demos collection – which features early versions of her biggest hits – makes a No. 52 debut.
