When we realized it’s time to figure out how we find ourselves together after all this time – you, and XRT, and all of us here – we decided we need to start telling the story in the 1980’s, XRT’s second decade on the air. You’ll recognize the cast of characters, and you’ll love (most of) the music, or at least enjoy hearing it. Since you’re the reason why we have a story to tell, we figure you don’t want to miss any of it. So tune in, starting 9am Friday, and all weekend long for XRT 4D Flashback Weekend on XRT and 93XRT.com.
Too much nostalgia can be a dangerous thing. That’s why we’ve decided to celebrate “40 Years of XRT” one decade at a time, starting 9am Friday with our first XRT 4D Flashback Weekend devoted to the 1980’s. The music will be totally spectacular (U2, Springsteen, Gabriel) and most of it highly memorable (Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Wang Chung) or not. Hear us play our original copies, vinyl and otherwise, and inform or remind you why the 80’s may stand out in your memory. Happy Eighties, everybody!
