Hurray for the Riff Raff is a band worth celebrating. With singer/songwriter Alynda Lee Segarra taking the creative reigns, the band will be releasing their new album Look Out Mama on May 1st. Produced by Andrija Tokic, the same individual who produced the fantastic Alabama Shakes album Boys and Girls, Hurray for the Riff Raff takes the listener through a journey of classic American sounds.
Exploring folk, psychadelia, country, and southern rock, the band’s debut single “Look Out Mama” feels as if it came straight from the 60′s. Imagine The Band meeting The Pixies, Bob Dylan crossing paths with Susan Tedeschi, or Neil Young collaborating with Karen Dalton.
