SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS

That’s the title of the new documentary that chronicles the final hours of LCD Soundsystem. Last year, leading up to their final gig in New York at famed Madison Square Garden, a film crew followed James Murphy around before and after the final show, and while the film has screened at Sundance and South By Southwest, the rest of us will have a shot to see it this summer when it’s shown in cities around the country in “one-night-only engagements.” It’ll be like going to a show! Oh, and concert footage from the nearly four hour set is definitely a part of the film. When we get more info on when and where we might have a crack at it, we’ll let you know!
