Sir Peter Blake was born. Blake was the bloke that took the photo for the cover of the album that provided the soundtrack for the summer of love…The Beatles’ Sgt, Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Now, to celebrate his 80th birthday, he’s released a new version. Based on the concept that became an photo icon in 1967, Blake included people he admires and some friends. Remember…I get by with a little help from my friends. Well Sir Paul McCartney made it on to the new version. I even spotted two of his daughters. But no Ringo? Aww. But the fun of this one, like 45 years ago, is to see how many faces you can identify. Have fun. Remember. Fun is the one thing that money can’t buy. I heard that on the album.
