I had friends emailing me yesterday asking if I’d heard Bruce Springsteen‘s speech from South By Southwest in Austin, TX. “Dude, you gotta hear it, man!” OK, I’ve tracked it down and it’s posted below. All 50 minutes of it. Bruce is really putting on a show down in TX. I saw tweets from music industry vets that saw him play for the first time last night and their reaction was pretty much the same as mine was when I first saw him. “That was the best show I’ve seen in a long time. Even though it’s around 3 hours, his set didn’t feel long enough. When can I see him play again?” Bruce played Woody Guthrie, he was also joined by Arcade Fire, Tom Morello, Alejandro Escovedo, and The Low Anthem… Just killing it down there from what I hear.
