New Orleans & Nashville — it’s a match made in XRT heaven. This first taste from the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer‘s forthcoming album features the Keys’ Dan Auerbach behind the knobs.

Auerbach, who just thumped out the year-end rocker, ‘El Camino‘, blends his grit with a classic Dr. John groove for ‘Locked Down’. Recorded at The Black Keys‘ own Easy Eye Sound studio in Tennessee, the disc is supported by a band of young musicians hand-picked by Auerbach.

The album is due April 3, but feast your ears on Dr. John‘s revolution right here!
