[photogallerylink id=97415 align=left]After selling out the Civic Opera House, Riviera Theatre, Vic and Metro, Wilco has now added a fifth and final Chicago concert, this time at Lincoln Hall on December 18.
Tickets are priced at $44.00 and will only be available for purchase online at www.eTix.com. As part of Wilco’s ongoing efforts to discourage scalping and keep tickets affordable, there is a strict 2-ticket limit per person.
The concert benefits the Inspiration Corporation, an organization that aids Chicagoans characterized by homelessness and poverty by helping them find work and providing permanent supportive housing. Tickets are $100. Must be 18 and over to attend. This will be their final Chicago area appearance in 2011.
The Whole Love follows up the band’s 2009 Grammy-nominated Wilco (The Album), was recorded at the band’s Chicago recording studio The Loft, features 12 new original tunes and is produced by Jeff Tweedy with Patrick Sansone and Tom Schick.
Coinciding with the album’s release will be the first leg of Wilco’s North American tour is Live On Letterman, a live webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Watch On-Demand
