[photogallerylink id=67314 align=left]What do you get when you mix garage blues, classical music, and controversial hip-hop ? Well, you pretty much get one of the most unusual collaboration in music history. Third Man Records founder [lastfm]Jack White[/lastfm] will be collaborating with [lastfm]Insane Clown Posse[/lastfm], an outrageous southwest-Detroit hip-hop duo with a cult following to match. And if you think the insanity ends there, you are sadly mistaken. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one the Classical era’s most influential composers (and yes; he’s been deceased for almost 220 years), joins the trio by providing one of his more unrecognized pieces, “Leck Mich Im Arsch”.
Third Man Records states that the new single “marries Mozart’s melody (and lyrics suns in operatic German) with ICP’s poignant lyrical addition in English and Jeff the B’s monster-riffs, letting the whole thing tie together in the most beautiful of ways.” While the description is enticing in itself, please take heed upon listening. The website warns that the lyrical content of “Leck Mich Im Arsch” is definitely “NSFW or children!” Getting curious? Well the fun doesn’t end there. White and Insane Clown Pose also recorded a b-side for the track. Entitled “Mountain Girl,” the additional song “finds Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope (ICP’s crazy MCs) telling tall tales about a shotgun wedding, meth problems, and moonshine.” While the song isn’t available for purchase on iTunes until September 13, you can listen to this piece of “musical genius” on Third Man’s website. You can even purchase the single on an exclusive tri-colored vinyl once it’s released. So, could this collaboration be the beginning of a beautiful friendship? Can we expect to see Jack White grace the stage at Insane Clown Posse’s next Gathering of the Juggalo’s? We may never know.
