The band recorded the song in Topanga Canyon in LA with producer Jacknife Lee, who has worked on their previous three albums.

[photogallerylink id=59879 align=left]The EP featuring ‘Called Out in the Dark’ will be released on September 4th and will also include the new album title track ‘Fallen Empires’, ‘I’m Ready’ and ‘My Brothers’, a song that was written for Irish Award winning director Paul Fraser’s film of the same name.

Don’t know if I’m sending this to the right place but today 1/13/12 heard Snow Patrol
in the XRT studio, just awesome. Like Snow Patrol but hearing them singing it
in the studio was just awesome, hope you keep playing those. Thankyou WXRT
for doing it, you are the best and always will be. The lead singers voice singing
like that brought a tear to my eye, it was just awesome. Like Terry said, “some
bands do it with all the studio stuff”, I now know Snow Patrol doesn’t, they are
really talented and can sing, just awesome. I will be buying their new cd next
week. Seem like realy good guys too, can’t believe they’re not more popular
in the states. Love their music.
