14. That Last Home Run – McKinley Mitchell with Willie Dixon’s Chicago Blues All-Stars
Love Rhino. This label has put out some of the most interesting compilations for decades now. They did two volumes of baseball songs, and this comes from volume 2 of Baseball’s Greatest Hits – Let’s Play II, released in 1990. Not on itunes but on the internet. Baseball and the blues. Best of both worlds. And a chance to explain to the kids who Willie Dixon was and why Chess Records was so cool.
