Hanging out at any live music festival can be hard work, especially if it’s 3 days in August at Lollapalooza. As a veteran of Music Festivals we all are going to need energy to keep the dream alive all weekend long. Last year with great success, the promoters of Lollapalooza commissioned Chicago Master Chef Graham Elliot to create a Gastro-Palooza of some of Chicago’s Finest Chefs. This year Graham is back and according to this morning’s Eater and The 312 Dining Diva there will be some returning favorites and some new restaurants along the Lollapalooza Midway.
This year’s Chow Town as it’s officially called brings back favorites Kuma’s Corner, Franks ‘N’ Dawgs, Local Eats (Blue 13 & Elate), The Smoke Daddy, Salud Tequila Lounge, Metropolis Coffee and Goose Island Brewpub in addition to new comers including some of my personal favorites The Gage, Saigon Sisters and first ever Michelin star rated Bonsoiree. What Chicago Gourmet Booth are you looking forward to eating at during this year’s Lollapalooza?

Here’s an interesting note, Executive Chef of The Gage and Henri on S. Michigan Dirk Flannigan is an occasional lead singer in the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Martin Atkin[/lastfm]‘s group Pigface
